YIN YOGA II: AN IMMERSIVE WEEKEND FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS - September 2020
This training stands for itself alone or can be the continuation of the first part from last year.

Time on Sunday: 09:00-11:45 and 13:45-16.45

This 2 day immersive weekend is suitable for yoga teachers who have an established yin yoga practice or wish to incorporate yin yoga principals into their classes and teaching and for students wishing to deepen their study of yin yoga .
It will consist of 12 contact hours with Tutor consisting of theory sessions, Practical Asana, Meditation and Mindful practices, Discussion and Q and A with tutor.

What we will cover - Language of Yin Use of props and how to explore variations in the yin shapes Heart / lung sequence Wall Yin Yang to Yin Qualities of Maitri Meditation and Mindfulness practical and theory Chi cultivation practices Incorporating wisdom tradition into teaching - notes and discussion Daoist theory 2 Yin yoga sequences for home practice Q and A
This is not a teacher training but an immersive weekend for those wanting to deepen understanding of Yin yoga with a view to teaching in the future.
Andrea has been teaching yoga since 2000 and is an Advanced Jivamukti teacher studying directly from Sharon Gannon and David Life. She is a mentor on the Jivamukti teacher training faculty and has taught at various Jivamukti centres around Europe including Jivamukti London 2005-2009 , Jivamukti Munich , Jivamukti Berlin and Peace Yoga Berlin and affiliate centre The Looking Glass Basel . She is based in Cambridge and teaches at Mokshala yoga Jivamukti affiliate studio. Andrea is a Level 2 trained yin teacher under the guidance of Sarah Powers since 2004 when she began yin yoga , she is interested in exploring Buddhist teachings alongside this work and has taken various Buddhist courses and silent retreats over the years . She has also trained with Judith Lasater and is certified in Restorative yoga . She teaches workshops and retreats both in the UK and abroad.
